Traditionally, companies
have maintained separate human resource and security
system databases. This leads to duplicate data entry and
inaccurate information. Over time, unless periodic
cleanups are performed, the security database will grow with
entries for people who should be denied access, but are
not due to clerical or procedural errors. This can be
eliminated through automatic database synchronization.
Security is increased and costs reduced. |

Highlights |
 |
FIS "middleware" that pulls the
personnel data (Peoplesoft, SAP, etc.) from a customer
database or file, and processes it so the data can be
accurately maintained on the C-Cure 800 or C-Cure
Central |
 |
Data is "pulled" from HR using Sql
Server DTS, SSIS, or Microsoft Access procedures (based
on requirements) |
 |
The data is pulled automatically or on
demand |
 |
The middleware is constructed to make
the process self-maintaining, with the customer source
database being the "master". Incorrect data entry in
C-Cure, or loss of connectivity between the systems is
automatically corrected each time the procedure runs |
 |
The FIS software maintains an audit
trail for verification and troubleshooting |
 |
Rules and be created to assign access
and detect errors |
