The raw C-Cure card access
data in the historical journal is often not in a format that facilitates efficient
time and attendance reporting. FIS takes the C-Cure data
and processes it into a database which allows advanced
reports to be produced. This processing includes
extraction of personnel fields not included in the
C-Cure enhanced reporting database, and the matching of
in and out transaction. Depending on the requirements,
Sql Server or Microsoft Access is used as the data
repository.
Highlights
Data is "pulled" from C-Cure using Sql
Server DTS, SSIS, or Microsoft Access procedures (based
on requirements)
The data is pulled automatically or on
demand
Once stored in the database, advanced
processing runs to format and prepare the data for
reporting and use by customer systems
Data can be store indefinitely for quick
access, or automatically archived
Reports prepared by FIS can be used and
enhanced by customer technical staff
Access to Sql Server data is lightning
fast. Often reports that take hours in C-Cure take
minutes or seconds using the FIS database
